During the first two seasons, the character of Fezco (Angus Cloud) has become a huge favorite among viewers. The character, like others, has his share of serious problems. Of course, the end of Season 2 wasn’t kind to Fezco. However, what it did bring him was a possible new romance with Lexie (Maude Apatow). The two became fast friends and seemed to be trending on the romantic side towards the end of the season. However, Lexie could have competition for Fezco from her own sister, Cassie, if actress Sydney Sweeney has her way.

Sweeney has revealed that she’s been begging production to give Cassie more scenes with Fezco. “I have been saying this, I ask Sam [Levinson] all the time to please somehow connect Cassie and Fezco. I’m hoping maybe next season, I will,” Sweeney said (via British GQ). Meanwhile, Fez may have a hard time interacting with anyone during Euphoria Season 3. Fans may remember that the character was arrested following a vicious shootout at his home, which heartbreakingly killed his younger brother Ash.
However, if Fez does get released from prison during Season 3, it’s likely that he’ll reconnect with Lexie at some point. This could mean that Fez could spend time at Lexie’s house or even go to parties with her. That would likely mean that he’ll also have the opportunity to interact with Cassie. Of course, the show is known for taking some wild twists and turns, and Cassie could set her sights on Fez despite his connection with Lexie.
Euphoria Season 3 release date speculation
If that happens, Cassie and Lexie would likely go head to head. Although Cassie would likely believe she has the upper hand, fans shouldn’t count Lexie out. The character has slowly been building up her self-esteem and courage throughout the series.
Meanwhile, fans have been waiting for an official Euphoria Season 3 release date. However, nothing has been confirmed. Viewers are hoping for a 2023 premiere date. Sadly, getting stars like Zendaya and the rest of the gang free to film may prove difficult. Fans could have to wait until 2024 to see the next episodes.
