The Circle Season 5 has been a wild ride. This season of the Netflix reality social media competition has been one of the best yet. The contestants have been vibrant and entertaining, and the catfish have been awesome. While viewers are loving the likes of Sam, Chaz, and Raven, there are two favorites that some fans didn’t expect to fall in love with.
In the first episode of The Circle Season 5, fans watched all of the original players get to know each other. The toughest part of the episode was that two people were blocked without having time to show their true colors. Contestants Bret Robinson and Xanthis Perdikomatis were booted on day one. However, they did get another chance. After being blocked, Bret and Xanthi were given a big opportunity. They were told that they could stay in the game together and be a catfish named Jennifer. Of course, they agreed.

Bret and Xanthi then went all in on becoming the 51-year-old cool aunt Jen. Through the episodes, the duo became close and worked together to gain friends and make to the end. Although it appeared that the pair wouldn’t be very likable, fans actually began to enjoy their gameplay and personal friendship, per Cheat Sheet. However, some fans are actually hating that they love Jennifer.
“I’m sorry but Jennifer has had the BEST game in the circle right now. Like ???? so strategically well played,” one person tweeted. “Xanthi and Brett playing tf out of “Jennifer” on the Circle. They’re playing so good they damn near deserve to win,” another stated. “Jennifer lowkey killing the circle!! You would never know they catfish,” a third person commented. “People on the circle take everything to serious. ITS A GAME! Who cares who the hacker is was? It was a mission ughhhh. I want Jennifer to stay so bad,” said another.

Of course, other fans are thrilled with Jennifer’s gameplay. After Jennifer ranked her best friend Tom in last place to live another day, many viewers weren’t happy. However, Bret and Xanthi reminded themselves that The Circle is a game and they needed to look out for themselves.
With the finale just one week away, fans are rooting for their favorite players to make it the finals and take home the cash prize. However, Sam, Chaz, and Raven seem to be the frontrunners, as they’ve been ruling the game since day 1.
