Season 4 of Nobody Wants This has yet to be confirmed. However, it’s clear that fans want more of the show, especially with all of the doors left open in the various storylines. Warning: Spoilers for Season 3 below!
What Happened in Season 3?
During the third season, viewers watched as Noah and Joanne took huge steps in their relationship. They moved in together, and ultimately had to learn to understand and deal with each other’s annoying little habits. Thankfully, communication has become key for the couple, leading them in the right direction.
Meanwhile, Joanne was busy taking classes to convert to Judaism. There she meets some new people who guide her along her journey, and tries to prove that she’s taking this step for all the right reasons. As Joanne’s classes continue on, Noah comes to understand that he wants the head Rabbi job at his former Temple.
He sets out to get the job, and eventually named the new head Rabbi. Everything seems to be going perfect. In one of the show’s most romantic and comedic episodes, Noah and Joanne fly to Napa, where Joanne believes they’re attending a friend’s wedding. Instead, she’s shocked to hear her favorite music and see her favorite flowers.
Noah and Joanne Get Engaged
That shock on heightens when Noah gets down on one knee and proposes to her. She says yes, and immediately wants to call her sister, Morgan, whom answers her phone just as she and Noah’s brother, Sasha, come around the corner to celebrate with the newly engaged pair.
Now that a wedding is on the horizon, it’s time to start planning, and Noah’s mother, Bina, wants control. While the couple try to contend with Bina’s demands, and ensure their day is still all about them, Sasha and Morgan steal the show.
Morgan Sparks a Social Media Movement
When Morgan is forced to do the sisters’ podcast without Joanne for one episode, she comes up with her own spin on the popular “Let Them” mindset. Instead, she tells people to “Make Them,” meaning that people should do what they can to get noticed and obtain anything they want.
The episode goes viral, sparking a social media movement, and Morgan’s ready to capitalize on it. She writes a book proposal, but is devastated when she’s denied a book deal. However, her spirits are lifted when Andy Cohen reaches out and asks her to be on Watch What Happens Live.
Morgan and Sasha Take The Plunge
Morgan asks Sasha to go to New York with her for the filming, and he agrees. After his estranged wife Esther tells him it’s time to move on, and that she’s dating someone knew, he decides to turn over a new leaf. He’s dating, but it’s Morgan that he has a crush on.
While in New York, Morgan and Sasha get intimate, which scares Morgan off. The following day, Sasha tells her that he doesn’t want to start a relationship and needs some time to heal from his broken marriage.
Joanne Converts to Judaism
When it comes time for Joanne to celebrate her conversation to Judaism, both families gather and secrets are revealed. Esther finds out about Morgan and Sasha’s night together, Bina learns that Noah and Joanne aren’t happy with all of her plans for the wedding, and both sets of parents get into a verbal spat.
As Joanne converts on the beach alone with Noah and his assistant Rabbi, the two know that they’ll have to contend with their families. However, Noah decides that he and Joanne should get married right there on the beach as their families argue in the distance. It’s a beautiful moment, but we need more.
What Will Happen In Nobody Wants This Season 4?
When and if Season 4 of Nobody Wants This rolls around, fans are going to want to see what married life is like for Noah and Joanne. Will things change now that they’re officially official? How will Joanne deal with her conversion to Judaism and being a Rabbi’s wife?
In addition, Morgan, Esther, and Sasha’s love triangle needs to play out. Will Sasha and Esther call it quits for good, leaving him free to explore romance with his best friend, Morgan, or will Morgan be left heartbroken over the situation?
Is There More Story To Tell?
The show’s creator, Erin Foster, says she has more story to tell when it comes to the series. “There’s those next steps as people who are not in their 20s, getting married and you’re starting off already kind of behind everyone else,” she told Parade.
“I experienced that when I got married, I was 37, and it’s a different experience. So, yeah, I do think that there’s more story to tell,” she added.
We need answers, and hopefully, Netflix will provide them. However, the first step is renewing the show for a fourth season.
