The Traitors: New Blood is heating up. Last week, Victor led the charge against Tomica, refusing to let go of his Fruitgate theory. Ultimately, he was targeted for banishment, but Shane’s Power of the Pardon gave him a second chance at life, and he didn’t waste it. Instead, Victor used his reprieve to help finally get Tomica banished and exposed as a Traitor. Now, he’s become one of the biggest threats in the castle.
After Victor told the remaining players that he was absolutely a Faithful and suspected both Tomica and Joe of being Traitors, he was met with plenty of uncertainty. However, following Tomica’s banishment, the other players will have a much harder time dismissing his suspicions. This doesn’t bode well for the remaining Traitors, Joe and Katie. So, what can they do?
The Traitors: New Blood Is Serving Major Drama
There are a few options when it comes to dealing with Victor. Joe and Katie could choose to murder him, which might put heat on one or both of them, but it would eliminate a major threat to their game. However, with a Traitor now banished, there’s also the possibility that they’ll have an opportunity to recruit someone new. If that’s the case, Victor might be their best bet.
By bringing Victor over to their side, they wouldn’t have to worry about him continuing to target them at the roundtable. They could also take advantage of the trust he’s recently gained from the other Faithful. Although Victor has already made it clear that he suspects Joe, he and Katie could potentially run the game together if Joe is banished.
Should Victor Become A Traitor?

Still, some fans aren’t convinced that Victor would even accept an offer to join the Traitors. In fact, several viewers believe he might turn down the opportunity altogether.
“I keep wondering if Victor wouldn’t just choose death instead of converting. He seems to have a personal bias against the Traitors at this point,” one person wrote via Reddit.
“I find it more interesting when the faithful reject recruitment, especially when they know they’re being used as a banishment shield,” another agreed.
“It could make for great TV. I think they will push off recruitment for another episode or two so he can have his conclusion with Joe, and then him deciding to stay as a traitor or leave can be the paramount ending to his story,” a third person theorized.
“She should do that only after Joe is gone. Then when it is down to one traitor, Victor would have the choice in a face to face meeting. Either he joins her or she murders him,” a fourth fan added.
Of course, not everyone thinks recruiting Victor would be a smart move. One viewer pointed out that his recent success in identifying the Traitors could make him a liability rather than an asset.
“Recruiting Victor’s a terrible idea. He just led a charge on 1 traitor, is after another, there is no reason for him to side with Katie in the turret,” the viewer simply stated.
Will Katie Become The Sole Traitor?
Other fans believe Katie should take a different approach altogether. Rather than immediately recruiting Victor, she could let him turn his attention toward Joe and help get him banished before murdering Victor herself. That would leave her as the sole remaining Traitor, potentially giving her the opportunity to recruit someone she feels more comfortable working alongside.
There are certainly risks no matter which direction Katie decides to go. However, Victor has proven that he’s capable of turning the game upside down, and leaving him as a Faithful could be a dangerous gamble. Whether she decides to recruit him, murder him, or let him take out Joe first, one thing is clear, Victor could determine how the rest of the game unfolds.
