Kody Brown and his wife, Robyn Brown, have officially exited Sister Wives ahead of Season 21. The reality star, known for previously having four wives at one time, is now down to one wife and no show. However, his three ex-wives, Meri, Christine, and Janelle, will continue filming the show.
That’s right, Sister Wives is now focusing on the lives of the three ex-wives, but is sure to still deliver the drama. Meanwhile, Kody Brown has finally spoken out about he and Robyn’s decision to leave the show after spending the past 16 years filming the reality TV series about their lives and families.
Sister Wives Season 21 Will Look A Lot Different
Kody took to his Instagram account to share his thoughts about leaving the TLC series. He also teased future projects for himself and Robyn.
“After 16 years filming Sister Wives, Robyn and I have made the very hard decision to walk away from the show. We are grateful for the opportunity to share our family with all of you. Through all the ups and downs we have opened our homes and hearts to so many of you,” Kody wrote.
“We are no longer interested in the narrative that is being shared and have decided our peace cannot be bought. We wish the other 3 women the best of luck and hope they can forge their own paths forward without using Robyn and I for storyline. To our loyal fans, this will not be the last you see of us. We have some very exciting announcements coming soon,” he added.
Big Things Ahead For Kody and Robyn Brown?
The most interesting part may be that Kody later deleted the post. Maybe he decided he didn’t want to make a statement about leaving Sister Wives. Maybe he wasn’t supposed to tease his future endeavors.
Either way, it’s out there and Sister Wives fans are interested to see what lies ahead for the show, and for Robyn and Kody Brown.
